Now, Lenovo has come up with a smartphone which recognized user’s voice to unlock the device. The technology is now limited to say your password to unlock your Lenovo A586 smartphone which itself is a new device. This is advancement from the Face Unlock feature which was launched last year.
Lenovo IdeaPhone A586 is the first smartphone to come out in the market with latest Speaker Verification Technology of Baidu and A * STAR's Institute for Infocomm Research which can recognize voice more specific.
So, basically to unlock the phone, user just simply say a phrase password (passphrase) without need to perform certain movements or staring into the camera.
IdeaPhone A586 itself is a 4.5 inch screen smartphone (845 x 480 pixels)and includes 1.2 Ghz dual core processor along with 1 GB RAM.
The smartphone is also equipped with a 5 megapixel resolution camera and has 4 GB internal memory storage capacity along with a micro SD card slot.
As reported by Engadget, IdeaPhone A586 will go on sale in China on December 12th.
